3. Essential Cookies (Season Management "Sport Löb")

Our website uses a technically necessary cookie to display the version of our website that is appropriate for the current season (summer or winter).

  • Cookie Name: season_override
  • Purpose: This cookie stores the preference (summer or winter) selected by the user via the season switch so that the appropriate seasonal version of the website can be displayed.
  • Legal basis: The processing is technically necessary to provide the website feature you have explicitly requested (Section 165(3) of the Telecommunications Act of 2021 / Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). This functional cookie does not require prior consent via a cookie banner.
  • Storage duration: The cookie is stored in the browser for 12 hours from the time it is selected, unless the user manually deletes it beforehand. Once this period has expired, the cookie automatically expires. After that, the season is automatically determined again based on the designated seasonal classification.

4. Integration of PANOMAX 360° panoramic webcams

We embed an interactive live panorama of the Aberg Railway, provided by PANOMAX GmbH (Wimbergerstraße 12, 4240 Freistadt, Austria), directly on our website using an iFrame.

When you visit the page where the webcam is embedded, a direct connection to PANOMAX’s servers is established for technical reasons. In the process, your IP address and technical data about your browser are transmitted to PANOMAX to enable the live feed, the timeline, and camera control.

  • Legal basis: This integration is based on our legitimate interest in ensuring that our online offerings are appealing and informative, as well as in directly providing our guests in the Hochkönig / Maria Alm (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Online Reservations via Wintersteiger Easyrent

When you reserve or rent equipment online through our website, the transaction is processed via the "Easyrent" online booking system provided by our software partner, WINTERSTEIGER Sports GmbH (Wintersteigerstraße 1, 4210 Ried im Innkreis, Austria). The booking form opens via a link in a separate browser window.

The data you provide (e.g., name, address, contact information, rental period, and physical measurements such as height and weight required for the safety-compliant adjustment of sports equipment) will be transmitted to WINTERSTEIGER for the purpose of taking precontractual measures or fulfilling the contract.

  • Legal basis: The processing is based on the performance of a contract or the implementation of precontractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
  • Data Processing: We have entered into a legally required data processing agreement (DPA pursuant to Art. 28 of the GDPR) with WINTERSTEIGER Sports GmbH. This agreement ensures that your data is processed in strict accordance with our instructions and with the utmost security.
  • Retention Period: The data will be retained for as long as necessary to process the lease and to comply with statutory retention periods under tax and corporate law.

6. Your Rights (Data Subject Rights)

With regard to the data we have stored about you, you generally have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal, and objection (Articles 15 through 21 of the GDPR).
